What's Includes:
On this course you will gain the skills in this easy effective procedure
which involves the use of a surgical blade to remove the dead skin from
the epidermis as well as vellus hair.
This is a fast-painless treatment and
the benefits of this treatment include lessening the appearance of acne
scaring; any sun damage or hyper pigmentation and fine lines and
wrinkles. Dermaplaning can be done as a standalone treatment or to
enhance another facial treatment.
On this course you will learn how to create symmetrically stunning
eyebrows; using techniques that ensure correct brow shape; weight
and position.
What we will teach you
You will learn hair stroke tempering and the secrets of
creating lifelike; natural looking brows with feather touch needles on
both artificial skin and live models. The course also includes the effective application of analgesics; working on synthetic skin as well as live models.
On this course you will gain the knowledge to be able to safely carry out
skin rejuvenation procedures to clients and help improve the quality of
their skin using either a hand held roller or the Dermapen which has
tiny pin prick needles which is used to pierce the skin.
The Dermapen is
a motorized surgical instrument with a disposable needle tip cartridge
with 12 micro-needles which glides over the skin. It lightly stamps
microscopic channels into the skin which stimulate a wound-healing
response, resulting in intense renewal, repair and rejuvenation.
Natural growth factors are released to stimulate reformation and
deposition of fresh, restricting collagen.
This treatment requires taking a small sample from the clients forearm
area (you must be trained in phlebotomy to take live bloods) The
treatment involves harvesting platelets from the patient’s blood and
injecting them into problem skin areas. The procedure starts with the
extraction of a minimal amount of blood
which is then placed in a
centrifuge to separate the plasma; It is then injected into the chosen
and placed into a centrifuge, which spins it very rapidly to separate the
plasma from the red blood cells. The plasma is then applied topically to
the skin of a the neck and face, or the scalp, and then a dermal roller is used to create tiny punctures in the skin, which allows the plasma to be absorbed.

PDO Threads can be an excellent option to combat facial ageing. They were first popularised in the late 1990s and since then their success and favour has increased as thread technology & technique has been significantly refined and improved. PDO Threads can be used to lift the cheek, jawline, neck, and brow areas. Barbed or cog threads are inserted into these areas and massaged into position against the skin to provide lift and collagenesis (production of new collagen and connective tissue volumising/tightening skin.) PDO threads can be effective for up to 18 months and are ideally suited to patients ages 35- 50 – dependent on the patients’ age and lifestyle. Threads can also be combined with other botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments for optimal results The latest course in our portfolio is perfect for aesthetic practitioners who have already completed some, or all of our botulinum toxin and dermal filler training courses and are now looking to learn further cutting edge techniques to rejuvenate the ageing face.
On the course we line up lots of live cosmetic models so that delegates are able to watch a live demonstration from our expert trainer and then to perform the cog thread procedures themselves. Before the practical work we cover an in depth presentation covering advanced facial anatomy, patient selection, consultation, anaesthesia, insertion of cog threads, and complications management. Delegates receive a pre-course reading manual when they book and we run an interactive session in the morning to ensure understanding before we start the practical part of their training.
You use a hand piece that emits a tiny plasma plume onto the skin which, in turn, evaporates and leaves a minute brown mark. We work in a grid form over the treatment area.
After the treatment the skin then goes through a natural regeneration process, by stimulating the fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin and this beneficial effect can remain for 2-3 years and leaves the client with fresher, younger and smoother looking skin.
